Laura joined the Boston Arts Academy Foundation team in November 2018. She has nearly 25 years of experience in development, marketing and communications for hospitals and nonprofit organizations, including Massachusetts General Hospital, The Dimock Center, and Pine Street Inn. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Resource Development at United Way of the Greater Capital Region in Albany, New York.
After graduating from Swampscott High School, Laura earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Brandeis University. She has served on numerous Boards of Directors, most recently with Historic Albany Foundation and the Gift Planning Group of Northeastern New York, and currently volunteers with The Trustees of Reservations.
A Quincy resident, Laura enjoys traveling, reading, playing piano, singing, playing tennis, and spending time with her Boston Terrier, Daisy.
