Next Steps for Accepted Students

You’ve been accepted to BAA! Now what?

  1. Accept or decline your offer of admission to Boston Arts Academy with Ms. Rodríguez as soon as possible (no later than date listed on your acceptance letter: Wednesday, March 29, 2023). You can confirm your seat directly by emailing Admissions at BAA-Admissions@bostonpublicschools.org or calling (617) 635-6470 x 32382.

  2. Send your required documents to Boston Arts Academy:

    • Current Official Transcripts

      • Incoming 9th Graders: Submit 7th and 8th grade transcripts

      • Incoming 10th – 12th Graders: Submit all high school transcripts

    • IEP/504 Plan (only if applicable)

    Please submit all documents by emailing BAA-Admissions@bostonpublicschools.org or faxing them to (617) 635-8854.

  3. If you are currently not a Boston Public School student, you must register as soon as possible by contacting BPS Enrollment at 617-635-9010 or a BPS Welcome Center.

  4. Attend all Admitted Student Events, save the dates!

    • Admitted Student Family Night

      Thursday, March 29, 2023 from 6:00-7:30pm at BAA (174 Ipswich St).

    • Spanish Language Assessment (For heritage speakers only)

      If you are heritage speaker, please sign up here for a 20-minute appointment slot between 2-4pm on either May 12 and 19.

    • 3-Day New Student Orientation

      3 days in August (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), August 22, 23, and 24 at BAA (174 Ipswich St).
