Kirven performed with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater from 2004-2015. Received an MFA from Hollins University. In 2015, he became the Co-Artistic Director of Dance at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) and Distinguished Performing Artist at Washington University in St. Louis.
