ABOUT KATHERINE CHAPMAN STEMBERG

Katherine Chapman Stemberg is being recognized by the Boston Arts Academy Foundation as the BAA Honors 2024 Civic Responsibility Honoree.

Katherine has been broadly and deeply devoted to her community as a leader, as a philanthropist, and as a connector. A business executive, entrepreneur, mother, wife and fabulous friend, Katherine is robustly engaged with a number of arts organizations, serving on the Boards of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the Brookline Music School, and is an Overseer of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Katherine also Chairs the Board of the Thomas G. Stemberg Charitable Foundation, and is a member of the Corporation of the Perkins School for the Blind, having recently completed a stint as Co-Chair of the Corporation for the Perkins School. Katherine, along with her husband, Bill Schnoor, has been an unwavering and enthusiastic supporter of Boston Arts Academy, through the Boston Arts Academy Foundation. Katherine and Bill have generously donated financial support, leadership and connections; they have also hosted events, served on host committees and were the BAA Honors 2023 Co-Chairs.
