Thanks to all who joined us on Thursday, March 16th to Honor Mayor Michelle Wu and Mayor Kim Janey on their leadership and commitment to the Arts. Proceeds and donations from our annual Champion Reception help us reach our goal of raising the necessary funds needed to cover the production costs of Shrek The Musical and provide additional funding to support BAA's ongoing STEAM programming, faculty, and resources.
We are grateful to everyone who attended, purchased tickets to Shrek The Musical, sponsored, and advertised in our program book.
Check out the 2023 Digital Program Book! Our dream is for BAA's new building to have a dedicated STEAM lab where students will have the materials and tools to explore and apply STEAM ideas and practices.

Why Your Support Matters:
BAA offers the city’s youth a world-class public arts education in keeping with Boston’s renown as a cultural capital.
Boston Arts Academy’s admissions process is unique. Students must demonstrate their commitment to their art—the only criteria for admissions. BAA reviews prior grades and learning and behavioral challenges after students have been admitted.
Studying the arts transforms a young person’s relationship to themselves, their community, and their world. BAA’s graduates are successful in a broad range of career fields, including law, education, business, and the arts.
As a pilot school within Boston Public Schools, public funding only covers a portion of BAA’s costs, mainly academic curriculum.
Boston Arts Academy Foundation bridges the gap and funds the arts, including arts faculty, resources, programming and more at BAA. The BAA Foundation also supports Health & Wellness, summer programs and college scholarships.
