 currently the Vice President of Permitting, Community, and Corporate Engagement at Related Beal, has a diverse professional background, including serving as Boston's Chief of Civic Engagement and holding positions in the Boston Inspectional Services Department, as a Suffolk County Probation Officer, and as an aide to political figures. 

is the CEO and President of Tres Islas Group Corporation and a community leader known for revolutionizing Boston's culinary scene. Hector and his wife, Nivia Piña, have launched several acclaimed eateries including Merengue, Vejigantes, Doña Habana, and Cilantro Latin Kitchen, earning national recognition for their Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Cuban cuisines. Committed to community involvement, Hector actively serves on BAAF Board of Directors and has received numerous awards for his leadership and impact on Boston's Latino community.

Champion Reception 2023

We’re partnering with 4 Corners Yoga & Wellness to host a $25 charity yoga class in recognition of Boston Arts Academy’s 25 years of providing transformative public arts education to our city’s youth. 

 Saturday, January 21 from 11:30am - 12:30pm for slow flow yoga - all levels welcome! Class proceeds will be donated to fund Boston Arts Academy's arts programming, as well as its Health & Wellness services.
